Kelci Jun (born in Seoul, South Korea) is a designer and illustrator based in London and Seoul. From 2007 to the present, she has been a designer, illustrator and artist.
Her mother, Kim, likes painting and drawing as a common housewife. As a young girl, she enjoyed art, and used to draw with her mother. She also played the piano in school, as well as doing calligraphy. Her career ambition was then to become a pianist, a designer, or a teacher.
She studied visual communication design BA and MA in South Korea. In 2006, she had started to work at design studio and decided to become a freelancer illustrator. Afterward, her illustrations and designs have been publishing in many books, magazines, advertisements, music video, murals and design products in South Korea, China and England.
Moving forward she graduated MA illustration in Kingston University in 2014. She set up her studio in November 2015 in London with stylish pattern products.
Her influences include Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Andy Warhol and Keith Haring. She gets inspiration from colours, shapes and lines. She uses a few design programs to create her digital art pieces. Kelci Jun is always looking for new ways of image making.
